here's my story of the weekend ...
woke up saturday morning,
i was supposed to go hiking with the chinese group at my church, but i didn't feel like going because my weekend had gone down hill since friday night ... so i called up my buddy and told him i am not going to hike anymore ... then it starts to rain (on and off) which made hiking hard anyways ... and my plan to go play putt putt golf with andrea and jia also went out the window because of the rain too ... then i was supposed to meet up with jia for chess, i went over to his house and he wasn't there ... so i was like "great !" even him forgot about our hang out time ... i went home.. dissappointed thinking what another sucky weekend this is going to be ...
then jia called me up, sayin do you wanna come over for dinner , i was like hmmmmmmmmm sure ...
i went over for dinner and we had some pizza,
then we went out for a walk,
now here's what made my weekend great,
i got to share the gospel with him!!
somehow everything just works out,
somehow when everything wasn't working out,
God was telling me to turn everything over and wait for Him, stop trying to be the hero and trying to save anyone because i can't anyways, i just gotta wait for His call,
when He calls, it's like we gotta enter into the "matrix" and answer the call ... anyways ...
there goes my saturday ..

Amen!! thanks for sharing, D-mac!! also it's kinda ironic that you said "enter into the matrix" b/c i'm listening to a really really old compilation album that i literally just found...w/ songs from "The Matrix" on it.

just a quick update on this friend,
a few weeks ago he actually went to a bible study on
Portland State Univ. campus .. and he went and hung out with the believers on that campus ...
and that's really awesome!
