I've been praying like a crazy man for the last few days that the Lord would help me find my passport that I lost five years ago. As some of you know I am planning on participating in the East Asia Project this summer. In order to do so, I need passport in to GCM by May 2. The options were growing slim, and included spending $200 to expidite a new passport. Well, that is no longer needed, because as of tonight Jesus has answered my prayer and I have my passport in my hand. PRAISE THE LORD HE IS GOOD!!! He has provided another need for me in His own perfect timing. I hope that you will all join me in praising God for His answer to prayer.
Jesus saves the day...again!!! AMEN!!!

So, just an update...kind of. I was really excited that the Lord answered my prayer last night and when I went into work this morning it was the first thing I told my boss about. In fact I told everyone at work today. There was not really a way to tell them that Jesus answered prayers without telling them about the power of God. So I was explaining to my co-workers how God knows everything (including where my passport was) and that if we ask Him for something in faith, that He wants to give it to us. Yes, everyone in Chipotle got a lesson in prayer today, and most were amazed, especially because I was telling them on Wednesday how much I needed my passport but couldn't find it and didn't know where to look. Pretty cool stuff. ;D

It was in a box in my hall closet. In the box were old papers, bills, pictures, etc... When I took one of the envelopes out of the box it jingles with change (that will always get my attention). Inside that envelope was another with a thank you note wrapped around my passport. Pretty cool, because I never would have looked in it without the jingling change. Praise God! He loves us so much, and He loves showing us that He loves us so much.
P.S. it was 35 cents...and yes its going towards the trip.

What is really cool, is that God wants to do that with everything we need, if we will just ask Him and let Him provide it for us. He has layed out our footsteps before us and has guarded our path. Before we even take the step, the Lord has given us all we need. He yearns to be our provider. He can and will provide everything for us, and has great things waiting for us. He loves answering our prayers, and our praises are a sweet sound to Him. If we will allow Him to do more in our lives, then our prayers would be full of praise for what He has done
Praise God!!!

Thanks for that, Chris. I really needed to "hear" it!! My week started off discouragingly (is that a word?) and it's such a comfort to know that God has our paths already set before us. To lean on Him during these hard times is my prayer!
