from www.relevantmagazine.com/god_article.php?id=6992 We were there to love. That’s it. You see, we are not called to save everyone. In fact, God doesn’t need us to save anyone. I struggle with that concept and often diminish my job, my activities and even this mission trip because of the good I’m not doing. I focus on who I’m leaving out instead of putting my attention on just loving. We are called to love others as Jesus would love them. Nothing more. Nothing less. Our group was in Jamaica to exhibit the love of Christ to children who were starving for love of any kind. I was called to Jamaica to love. This makes me no more special than anyone else. All of us are called to love each and every day. In struggling places like a Jamaican orphanage, on the street corners of our cities and inside the walls of our offices. Love everyone and everywhere. Jesus’ message was a simple one. We all have to be careful not to overanalyze it. ~ Are we loving it up? .... All of us are called to love each and every day... daniel
