i feel sick. today at school i found out a lot of my classmates are failing (keep in mind, failing is anything less than a C) adult health and that they're going to have to retake it...which means they won't be going on w/ our class. my teacher for that class summoned me to her office after pharmacology today and said i needed to schedule a meeting for tomorrow. she didn't tell me anything positive or anything negative...so i could be worried about nothing... unfortunately my genes only allow me to prepare for the worst... when i first went into her office earlier i told her i felt sick on my way there bc id heard of people failing and i didnt want to be another. she didnt tell me that i am failing, nor did she tell me that i am NOT failing. so i dont know if that means anything or if im just reading into it like i normally do anyways. but i still feel sick. really sick. so on a more uplifting note...i know that God is in control. it's just so hard to keep that in mind a lot of the time. i mean i know He is in control, but oftentimes it feels like He's pretty far away. now i feel like i wont even be able to enjoy celebrating my birthday this weekend because i'll be so worried about everything else. please send up some prayers for me...i definitely could use them.

here's an update y'all, sorry for the delay, etc..
and i want to thank y'all for praying for me. my meeting was definitely full of answered prayer.
my meeting w/ my teacher was regarding a checkoff that i had to re-do. i did great on the re-do, got a 98...but after averaging it w/ the first one i did bad on, i didn't have a 70 or better. in order to pass the class as a whole, we have to pass all of our checkoffs with 70 or greater. so she met w/ the instructor who actually graded my checkoff, and she gave me a few more points for the things i did right the first time, which bumped the average up to a 70.5.
my teacher literally said the words, "this is only by the grace of God." i looked at her and said, "i know."
i think it's SO amazing how God works things out perfectly according to His will. i was so scared i was going to be kicked out of my class and had no idea what "plan B" was.
although it's disappointing that regardless of the effort i've been putting in, i'm thankful that i am where i am and that God's got me where He wants me. i'm absolutely sure that nursing is the profession that He wants for me.
anyway...end of story for now...and remember that God is good!!
